Most teams goes to a 5-0 defense, when a player gets a 2 minutes penalty and let the attackers get the initiative.
It is therefore possible to take over this initiative from the attackers by doing something they don't expect - namely take offensive action.
However don't expect that it works every time.
Sooner or later the attackers will be prepared for an offensive defense and take action, as a running in from the opposite wing will cause great possibilities for the attackers.

In this example the defense do not pay attention to the wing opposite the ball.
When the ball are by the wing, the defending wing covers in such a way that a pass to the opposite wing is difficult.
The backcourt push forwards and covers the attacking backcourt.
By doing this it is more difficult for the wing to pass to the backcourt and will seek the center backcourt, which gives the defense a chance to take the ball.
The circle runner must be covered very carefully.
